I am assuming that the belt has worn through the plastic pulley that has happened because the phosphor bronze bush has seized on the shaft. I have made and sold over 20 of these replacement pulleys. As to date I have not had any reports of any issues. I hope that this will put your mind at ease and I can assure you that you will not have any more problems when installing my upgraded pulley. A lot of people have replaced with the original and it immediately seizes again. As the shaft also ends up with some degree of damage so you can't run the OEM pulley on it.Cheers Andrew
