You will need to open the black seal carefully, not to damage the foam inside. Foam needs 24 hours to 48 hours to breath and come back to shape. You must open the package as soon as it’s received. Foam density is a specific measurement of how much weight in pounds polyurethane foam can handle per cubic foot. This density rating tells you the strength of the foam. The higher the number, the longer the foam will last. It should not be used exclusively as a sign of durability or comfort, because firmness and lifespan of foam products just like mattresses and cushions, depend on many factors, including density. The density may vary slightly between each foam shipment. The foam is poured a bit different each time the foam is made.
