See picture 3 for the size of the grind compared to a penny, the penny is not included.The eggshells are washed with plain water and then set up to dry for a day. Next, we dehydrate the eggshells for 5 hours. Finally, we grind the eggshells and package them in zip lock bags as seen in the last picture.Eggshells are mainly made up of the calcium carbonate, and calcium is an essential nutrient for giving your garden soil what it needs to nourish plant life. That makes eggshells an excellent source of calcium for your garden and plants.
