Description: Here we have one pair of classic 'O' scale 2 rail Lobaugh freight car trucks, as identified by the classic brass bolster. They are all metal, including brass & Bronze. While not as well detailed as some of the newer 'O' scale freight car trucks, these are quite robust and sturdy. These are models of Bettendorf trucks. They are fairly tight, don't show much wear, and are properly insulated for 2 rail use. These are the typical trucks designed for the classic Lobaugh line of freight car kits, both before and after WW-2. They could have other applications as well, and may be useful for kit-bashing and scratch-building projects. The wheel sets are not exactly matching. Bronze & Blackened wheels are mixed. I suspect that different batches of wheels were mingled during original assembly. If you are painting these, it matters very little. Be sure to check out my other listings of nifty 'O' scale goodies!
