The majority of the pages are sourced from sheet music and songbooks that were published from the 1800s to the early 1900s and will arrive in a sealed package weighing a heavy 1 1/2 to 3 pounds. The music pages are all lightly trimmed so that you can start your project with nice, clean edges instead of dealing with the soiled or torn edges that can naturally occur through use and age. The color will vary and may be lighter or darker because of the way various paper ages, but the average hue is a nice, aged cream color (see images). Generally, each piece will have the music on both sides of the page such as the staves, notes, and lyrics, but there might be some minor differences whereas a page may have music on one side and a table of contents or title page etc. on the other side, or might just be blank on the flip side. Writing or marks might be found on some of the pages, but I try to eliminate those pages as often as possible (see images).
