These bags are made for durable 2.2 mil polypropylene and measure 8x5x19 inches. These are the 5 micron filter patch, also know as "high flow" spawn bags. These bags are ideal for fruiting. They are autoclavable, reusable and can be sealed with an impulse sealer or just tied shut at the ends. Each bag can easily hold 5-6 pounds of substrate. These bags can be used for spawn production to inoculate bulk substrates like straw or compost, or you can fruit your substrate right inside the bag itself. The breathable technology behind these bags provide gas exchange, but exclude water vapor, so your spawn does not dehydrate.
