1000 Vintage Lions Club Pin Collection Including Elvis Presley Pins: Dave Auxier

Description: Hello pin traders,My name is Dave Auxier. Some of you might remember me as a serious Lions pin trader back in the 1977 to 2002 time period. I am now 93 years old and no longer trading. For many years, I was plum serious and accumulated a sizable collection. In the late 80's, I sold my entire state pin collection and a lot of other premium pins - over 5,000 – to a trader in California. I retained a lot of my favorite pins, including all of the Elvis Presley pins which I designed. I then specialized in pins with cars on them and continued trading until I gave it up after 2002. I still have several hundred car pins. I am now 93 years old and decided to divest myself of my remaining collection. There are over 1,000 pins, including many premium singles and sets. My children don’t want them, and I need to dispose of them before the grim reaper disposes of me. Therefore, I have decided to sell them on EBay.I wish I could offer them in small lots, but I have physical limitations and my hands won’t allow me to package and mail them separately. THE SALE WOULD HAVE TO BE FOR THE ENTIRE COLLECTION. You can see the description of the particular sets and duplicates below. The collection consists of one large stretched burlap canvas with pins attached (originally under glass, but too heavy to ship, so only cloth and pins are included). Frame will be disassembled, cloth folded, and packed for shipping. Canvas is 67” X 44 ½”. Also in the box: 4 smaller glass frames with respective pin collections (see photos) and several clear, labeled ziplocks of the other pin collections both pictured and described below. Shipping was estimated, but will be precisely calculated when buyer is ready for it to be mailed.
