Description: A lovely 10k yellow gold Prince of Wales chain, 20" long and weighing 0.46g. Just under 1mm in width; looks amazing on its own, layered with other chains or with a couple of charms added. This chain is lightweight but strong and would be a great chain to pair with a pendant! My name is Kathy and I am the sole proprietor here at Bauble Vivant. I have recently decided to try listing my offerings in an Etsy shop to reach more customers, so I am really very glad that you have decided to stop by. I have been selling online for over 20 years, and collecting jewelry seriously since around 2012. I started selling when my personal collection just became a tiny bit unwieldy. I’m sure more than a few of you can commiserate on that with me! Since I am a bonafide “chatty Kathy,” I have developed relationships with a number of my small, independent local jewelers, sourcing from them along with a number of global auction houses, estate sales and even charity shops. If there is a pile of shiny things, I am there with my loupe in hand, looking for the best of the best to bring to my customers. Everything I sell has been extensively inspected and tested, and I guarantee every item to be of the listed quality, metal content or gemstone type that is listed. I am particularly passionate about pearls, and I have completed a course through the Cultured Pearl Association of America, outlining the production, identification, care and other important aspects of those fabulously diverse aquatic gems. Additionally, while I am not a certified gemologist, I hold a masters degree in a sub-field of biology, and as such, I am very dedicated to science. If there is a gemstone that I can’t readily identify, I have a library of gem identification reference books, a microscope and other testing equipment at the ready. I might add a gemology cert to my resume one day, but this store has been keeping me a bit too busy for all of that.
