DESCRIPTION: Large studio pottery vase by American potter JERRY KESSLER (1952–2011). Hand thrown stoneware with variegated glaze. Waisted cylinder form. Incised "Kessler" on bottom. CONDITION: Excellent original condition with no damage and no significant wear. No restorations. No flakes, nicks, cracks, chips, dings, scratches, bruises, scuffs. No significant production related flaws. No leans or noticeable asymmetry. Very clean as found, inside and out. No stains, discolorations, scale, etc. I see no evidence this vase was ever used to contain anything.
