Description: The Golf Book is a handcrafted, hardbound miniature reproduction containing selected pages from The Golf Book which takes its name from one of its illustrations which shows an early game of golf. It is famous for its lively depictions of sports and pastimes. It is likely that the Golf Book was produced in the early 1540s. This volume measures 1 inch high by ¾ inch wide by 3/16 inch thick. It consists of 24 pages printed on 20 pound 92 brightness bond paper. The covers are printed on 20 pound 92 brightness bond paper bound over 110 pound cardstock to maintain the proper scale. The books are constructed using traditional bookbinding techniques and other techniques I have developed for miniature books. I personally make each book. My miniature books are not intended for children and are not toys. THE QUARTER IN THE PHOTO MEASURES .955 INCHES OR 24.26 MM. THE PICTURE IS LARGE TO ENABLE CLOSE VIEWING OF THE BOOK DETAILS.
