Engine Bkgrnd: I purchased this for xtra parts for my 85 115 Johnson V4 Crossflow but not many parts fit (found out after I got her home) so the parts are on ebay! The owner had his wife fill the boat up with gas but she grabbed the wrong gas cans & put straight gas in it! They took off & he noticed something wrong right away - stopped & went back with the kicker - figured what happened & gave it a compression test it was 120/120/120/90 (the lower rt cylinder was low)- I have pictures of the pistons - all rings were free on 3 pistons 1 lower ring was froze on the lower rt piston : that piston was marked up pretty good but the other 3 had wear marks also Ill send pictures of them if interested (pistons are not good enough to reuse - rods & brngs are good & will be listed) : Pistons say 328 355 + 49003A inside & 030 on top - measures 3.524 with a dig caliper! loc= URTS lge gray tote : Evinrude 115999R Engine!
