You can expect an excellent fertility rate; our eggs have had very high hatching rates both in incubators and under our broodie hens. This listing is for ONE DOZEN eggs (plus a few extras; I always include a 2-4 extras in each order). The eggs pictured come from our flock of free range happy hens. Many will have feathered feet, fluffy cheeks, muffs and beards. Our flock consists of: -Black copper maran (those beautiful chocolate colored eggs). -Blue copper maran -Olive egger -Americauna (most of my hens carry the lavender gene) -Salmon favorelle -Mottled Java -Barnevelder -Crested Cream Legbar -Easter Egger -Lavendar Orpington -Welsummer (for those beautiful speckled eggs) -Yellow and black Silkie -Barred Rock Eggs will be shipped priority USPS mail carefully wrapped and laid within 24 hours of shipping. Upon receiving the hatching eggs, they should be placed pointy side down for 48 hours to settle prior to setting them in the incubator or under your broody. Calculated shipping so you’re not getting gouged on price (at least not by me). I prefer to ship on Monday through Wednesday to minimize days spent in the postal system. Hatch rates cannot be guaranteed although I am happy to give tips for incubating success! Shipping eggs does decrease the overall hatch rate and for this reason, I try to include at least a few extra eggs with each order.
