Description: For your consideration is a bailed jug of the 1/2 gallon size. I do not know the identity of the manufacturer, as several companies manufactured jugs similar to this from the 1890s to into the 1940s.Not counting the wood & wire bail, the height is approximately 7 3/4" and the bottom has a diameter of slightly more than 5 5/8". This jug is an old item that has been used. It has 0 cracks, however on the bottom edge is a large chip. Also on the bottom edge are minor to insignificant chips. This jug has a lot of crazing. Everything about the bail is the only way I have known it to be, but I am convinced the bail is not original to the jug. Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description. Whenever it is practical, I will combine shipping.
