It contains regular issue coils from 1962 to 1963 rate period. The definitives are catalogue numbers 1225 for the 1c, and 1229 for the 5c. This is a basic set and tagging will be our choice of either type. The Rotary Press coils are perf. 10 vert. Regular Issues were the definitive workhorse of the era. The 5c Washington stamps paid the new Jan. 1963 rate change to 5 cents per oz. The penny Jackson stamps were used as make up rate with leftover 4c stamps from the earlier rate period. For blocks/strips the position order will always be exactly as pictured. We ship sets of stamps in Scott order (left to right) as pictured and/or stacked (top to bottom). Stamps, especially coils may have a natural curl. Gummed sheet stamps will often have gum breaker ridges. Regarding Purchasing: Purchasing is self service.
