Description: Collectible official souvenir drinking glasses from the 127th Kentucky Derby run on May 5, 2001, the renowned Thoroughbred classic horse race and first jewel of American Thoroughbred racing's annual Triple Crown, held at Churchill Downs race course in Louisville, Kentucky. (The 2001 race ultimately was won by Monarchos, but his name is not shown on the glass, which originally was produced and sold in advance of the race.) One side of glass shows race name and logo, while a list of names of all winning horses of the race since it was inaugurated in 1875 up to the date of the race is on the other side. 12 oz capacity. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or scratches - no signs of use - pristine! A terrific collectible glass commemorating the historic 2001 Triple Crown race eventually won by Monarchos.
