Description: 1/32 21st Century Toys Ultimate Soldier WWII German King Tiger Tank. Tiger II or ‘Konigstiger’ (King Tiger) was first used during the Normandy campaign in 1944 and was the most powerful tank on the battlefield at that time. Known variously as the Tiger Ausf. B, Tiger II, King Tiger or Königstiger (the British also referred to it as the ‘Royal Tiger’), 489 Tiger IIs, were produced at the Henschel assembly plant, between January 1944 and March 1945. However, despite lacking in numbers, and being prone to mechanical and mobility issues based on its size and weight, the Tiger IIs combination of devastating firepower and thick sloped armour plate, made it a formidable adversary for Allied forces on the rare occasions it was encountered on the battlefield. A very nice and apparently rare release from 21st Century Toys. This tank is highly detailed with several opening hatches. The turret turns and the barrel raises and lowers. The tracks rotate. This tank is finished in a very attractive camouflaged color scheme. The tank is listed as Used, however it is in very nice condition. There is no apparent damage. The top turret hatch cover has been replaced with a different colored one. I will let the buyer paint it to match the rest of the tank. No box, I will package very carefully. That said you may have to reattach any parts that come off during shipping. Please review the photos to determine condition and what you will receive if purchased.
