Description: 1/32 CEM32001 Harrier II GR7 Nose replacement set (for Trumpeter Kit #02287). Check out my other resin upgrades and correction sets at my store. This set is designed to replace the kit supplied nose section of the Trumpeters GR7 kit. The kit nose section is grossly misshapen with a upturned curvature of the nose, too anemic near the ARBS aperture and the IR sensor housing is completely wrong in shape. This set also correct all other antennas and sensors on the nose and saves the hassle of having to clean up the the longitudinal seam. All one as to to is remove the plastic kit nose at the seam line and remove this item from its support and glue in place. All antennas and gear can be applied after at any point. This set improves panel line detail and accurate shape and profile all based on reliable drawings. Definitely will correct the shape of the kits horrible nose section. This is a 3D printed part modeled in CAD using many pictorial references and is the most accurate replacement nose on the market currently available. This replacement set includes thermoformed ARBS lens, IR housing lens and all antennas on the nose are separate so they can be painted and added after. Super easy assembly and great improvement over the original kit parts. Part exhibits minuscule layer lines that will need to be smoothed out with primer (Mr Surfacer 1000 recommended) and sandpaper (3m 400 grit and 600 grit recommended). Attach parts to kit fuselage with CA glue. Dust mask and eyewear protection is a must to protect your health during processing of part. Work outdoors if possible during processing.
