Description: This listing is for a wonderful 14 karat white gold ladies ring featuring an oval, semi-bezel set, rare natural color-change sapphire and four natural diamonds. The sapphire measures 7.0 x 5.5 mm with an actual weight of 1.32 carats. The color of the sapphire changes from a brownish, yellowish green color in full spectrum fluorescent or daylight (best seen when augmented with a modern LED flashlight) to a kind of salmon pink in strong incandescent light. These colors make this gem a true alexandrite-like sapphire; an amazing piece for any gemstone lover or collector! The first photo after the video is the gem in "daylight", and the next shows it in incandescent light; all the rest are in mixed lighting. The first part of the video is "daylight", and the second part is incandescent light. The gem is eye-clean (and mostly loupe clean) and is very well cut for a "native" cut stone. Most all natural sapphires are heat treated, and this gem most likely was as well; but this really is an incredible, phenomenal natural gemstone! The sapphire is flanked by four round, full brilliant cut, natural and unenhanced diamonds. The diamonds are also semi-bezel set and have an actual combined weight of 0.16 carat. They provide a nice side sparkle, and face-up better than their technical average grade of K/L color (top light brown) and I-2 clarity with good overall cut. The sapphire and diamonds are all 100% genuine and natural, and the diamonds are also completely untreated and unenhanced. The 14 karat white gold mounting is by the well-respected New York manufacturer Overnight Mountings; style number 82540.
