Description: 14k GOLD filled....7j....screw case....BEAUTIFUL! Bird, leaves, and ribbon design on back. MOVEMENT SIGNED: Elgin Natl. Watch Co., 2395029. For additional markings see pictures.CASE SIGNED: B&B, Royal, 20 years, and 6824071. I looked up the serial numbers on both the case and movement. The case is 14K gold filled and was made by Bates & Bacon from 1883-1904. The movement is Elgin model 1 and was made in 1887. I believe that this is a size 6s. Total width is 1 3/4" from side to side not including the crown. Please use your best judgement on the size. TOTAL WEIGHT: 63.2g! CASE CONDITION: The glass looks good with no scratches or cracks...a minor scuff at the most. No scratches or bends ont he case. Very light wear at most. The outside back has been engraved with JWB initials. The loop on the top rotates perfectly. MOVEMENT CONDITION: The time does adjust. The clock does wind. IT HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR AN HOUR NOW WITH NO ISSUES...OF COURSE IT MAY NEED SOME MAINTENANCE. The watch is missing it's second hand.
