Description: 6th plate daguerreotype a young man, identified inside of the case as "E. Hovey". This dag came out of a San Antonio, Texas estate.The dag was still sealed when I got it, but the seals split when I tried to remove it from the case.. they are still in place, though. The case has a couple of popped rails on top... still in one piece with the spine slightly splitting. The dag seems to be in excellent condition other than tarnishing.
