Description: This is a very old receipt, dated May 1741. The document is handwritten, and is an agreement between a man named John Angell and a man possibly named William Hoerth, if I am reading it correctly. This document appears to be signed by "Wm. Hoerth". I am not certain, but I believe that the John Angellmentioned in this document may be the same John Angell (d. 1784) for whom the Angell Town area in Brixton is named. The document is about 3" by 8", and is in good condition, with moderate wear. It comes with a certificate ofauthenticity from JG Autographs. Shipping is FREE within the USA via USPS First Class Mail.
