Worn but reasonably well detailed and toned to a mahogany brown. O: Bust to left, IOHN HOWARD, F.R.S..R: A cypher, H H. BIRMINGHAM PROMISSORY FARTHING.E: Plain (not in collar). This token is listed in Dalton & Hamer as Warwickshire 481a. I would grade this token Fine (Sheldon VF25). I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
