Due to the popularity and vast influence of this style Flaxwell was commissioned by notable names such as Georgiana Hare-Naylor, Thomas Hope and Lady Spencer to design illustrations for the works of a variety of classical authors and poets, including Aeschylus, as seen within this copy.
