Description: It is a collection of 18 unusual Holy Cards (13 in English and 5 in French), all in the same style with text in white over darker contrasting colors, all made in BELGIUM, probably in the 1960s/70s. 11 cards are in the 'VITA” series, 2 in the 'GLORIA' series, and others from similar sources including two in French from the Carmel of Mehagne. The texts on all are from the Scriptures or from well-known devotional writers including St Augustine, Cardinal Newman, Abbot Marmion, Thomas Merton, the Imitation of Christ and more. These are in several color series: forest green, medium brown, two in dark blue, three in red and one in blue-green, all cards standard 2 7/8 by 4 3/4”, one card very slightly smaller. We are offering these as a collection of 18 cards and would ask that you do not request that we sell individual cards at this time.
