Description: 1800 BB-182 / B-2 Bust Dollar ANACS VF20 Details One of the Great Rarities of 1800.Was believed to be Unique, as both Haseltine and Bolender each knew of but one specimen. We have tracked only 16 extant examples to date. There are probably no more than twice that number, if that many. The obverse die was paired several times, producing 3 die varieties: BB-182, BB-183, and BB-184, the first two being quite rare. It is characterized by a strongly doubled R of LIBERTY (imaged here). The reverse was paired twice, the other pairing being another rarity, BB-181. For that reverse die, the leaf connects with the lower right corner of the I of AMERICA. This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire a significant rarity. Should ship USPS Registered Mail
