1800s 13.5" X 16.5" ANTIQUE PHOTOGRAPH - HISPANIC FAMILY ? - VICTORIAN

Description: Item : This antique photograph family portrait is in the original frame and covered with glass. The photograph size is 13 1/2" by 16 1/2", with frame it is 22 1/2" by 25 1/2". The photograph looks to be attached to the white backing. There is discoloration (yellowing) of the surrounding backing that the photograph is attached to, but the photograph itself looks to be very well preserved. (Also, there is some distortion at the center in the photos I took of this piece from the reflection of light.) There is a bit of a silver shine to the photograph when I hold it angled to the light and the surface looks unscratched and in good condition. Also, the small black line in the bottom left corner is not a curling of the photo but a part of the image. I noticed this in several other photos online - it looks to be a characteristic of this type of photo process. I wish I knew more about this photograph - I didn't want to risk opening the frame to see if there was any information inside. The time period looks to be Victorian 1880s-1890s. And, the family lineage looks to possibly be Hispanic?
