Description: This is an original antique copperplate engraving from "Natural History, General and Particular, by the Count de Buffon" - published in 1812. The overall size of the page including margins is approx 5" x 8.25" (13cm x 21cm); the reverse side is plain. There is some age related marks/discolouration/spotting; there are small light coloured spotted areas on the bird which under close examination does not look like surface damage to the paper so must have occurred during the printing process - please review the photos to best establish condition prior to purchase.
