Hardcover bound in early straight grained morocco with intricate gilt tooling to the spine and boards. Raised bands to the spine. The binding is rubbed and bumped. The hinges are especially rubbed. There is a 2 inch crack at the bottom of the front hinge, running up to the bottom cord. There is some cracking to the surface of the leather on the spine, and "London 1814" is stamped in gilt at the foot of the spine. All edges gilt. Gilt inner dentelles. Pastedowns green. A sound copy. Wide margins. The text is mostly clean with some occasional foxing. Four separate titles bound together with four title pages. "Childe Harold" is an Eighth edition and has a foldout facsmile of Byron's writing in Greek. "The Giaour" is a Ninth edition. "The Bride of Abydos" is an Eighth edition.
