Size: thick 8vo (21.5cm x 14cm x 5.7cm).Very Good to Near Fine condition. Binding and hinges solid. Light rubbing to edges and spine. A few small scattered marks to leather. Offsetting from title page to facing blank. Pages and plates generally clean and bright, with light spotting to a couple of short gatherings of text leaves. Dedication page with light dust marking. There is a presentation copy from Rees to 'Lord King' [Peter King, 7th Baron King of Ockham, Surrey (1775–1833), English aristocrat, politician and economic writer]. King's eldest son, William King-Noel [8th Baron King of Ockham and 1st Earl of Lovelace FRS (1805-1893)] purchased in 1886 the 12,000 acre Ben Damph Forest on the south side of Loch Torridon in Scotland, and built the sporting lodge, Ben Damph House in 1887, and this volume bears an accession stamp to the library at that residence. key words:
