Gilt on spines but that's mostly faded/worn/missing Approximately 3" x 5" so "pocket size" I think these are canvas bindings not leather but I can't really tell as they look and feel like old leather but I think that's not the case The original owner's name in brown ink appears in all 3 vols as does a red & white shipping label that looks to me to be from the 40s, more or less, which is adhered to the inside covers of each volume for some reason. See pics. I don't know the provenance of these books and I'm selling them only because I hate incomplete sets, but if I can't get a little more than I paid for them (when I bought them the seller did not disclose the fact that this was a 4 vol set with only 3 volumes) then I will just keep them. So I'll consider offers but I didn't get these all that cheaply, so.
