Description: Very Good condition for age. No chips or cracks. Has crazing with very little slight tanning. Use marks are moderate in amount and faint in quality. There are three original stilt marks on the rim. Plate measures 9 3/8". Although unmarked, this was made in England in the 1830s. At that time, the British were interested in regaining a foothold in the American marketplace after the two countries had been at war in 1812...so, they made some patriotic ware for their American "friends." Happy buying.
