The Tracts for the Times were a series of 90 theological publications, varying in length from a few pages to book-length, produced by members of the English Oxford Movement, an Anglo-Catholic revival group, from 1833 to 1841. **London; Printed for J. G. F. Rivington. Printed 1834-1839, vol 3 stated as a new edition. all three volumes bound in aperiod drab cloth covered boards [original publishers], with printed title label to the spine. 8vo. Measuring; 23.4cm x 14.7cm. Each tract with its own pagination** Condition: See photos as part of condition report: Three vol. All bindings bound in the original publishers binding. Holding firm, some discolouration to the boards and spine, the title labels to the spines chipped in places and soiled, some fraying to the upper joints and head. Boards a little dusted and marked. Corners of the boards bent. All of the volumes are bound with the original lemon endpapers and pastedowns, pencil and pen annotation to the front.
