Description: From my anti-slavery collection, I offer this 1834mm white metal medal in proof-like uncirculated condition. I am not able to capture the mirror fields brilliance with my camera, but you will be pleased. Listed in British Commemorative Medals as #1276 and British Historical Medals as #1673. By T. Halliday. The obverse William IV seated beneath a canopy attended by advisors. Beneath in ex. "I ADVOCATE THIS BILL AS A MEASURE OF HUMANITY" The reverse has a group of 7 men and women hands linked joyously dancing around a palm tree. Ex. "SLAVERY ABOLISHED BY GREAT BRITAIN 1834" I doubt you could find a nicer example anywhere. Would go well with my other anti-slavery tokens which I also have listed now. See the scans. US insured shipping is $4. It will cost me more. PayPal preferred. I am always open to offers on any of my listings. Just ask. Worst thing is I say no. JUST LOWERED THE PRICE FROM 895 AND IS NOW A BETTER BARGAIN.
