Publisher's tan cloth printed with publishing information on front cover and ads for other volumes in the Harper Family Library series on the back cover. Bindings show wear and soiling with paper covering on spines missing in areas. The covers remain firmly attached with no cracking or splitting of hinges. All pages are tightly bound. There is some scattered, mostly light foxing/soil to the pages and the pages remain quite legible. Previous owner name and date of 1837 on top of title pages. A very scarce set!
