SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 27 x 37 cm, 10.75 x 14.5 inches (large) plus margins ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER: Drawn by Joshua Edward Adolphus Dolby (fl.1838-1845). PROVENANCE: Printed by Day & Haghe. Louis Haghe (17 March 1806, Tournai, Belgium – 9 March 1885, Surrey) was a Belgian lithographer and watercolour artist. Together with William Day (1797–1845), around 1830 he formed the partnership Day & Haghe, which became the most famous early Victorian firm of lithographic printing in London. In 1838, Day and Haghe were appointed 'Lithographers to the Queen'. After William's death in 1845, the firm became known as 'Day & Son'. I have been unable to trace the publication from which this view was taken. TYPE: Antique lithograph printed on paper. VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank.
