Description: This is a 'Buy it Now' for a Queen Victoria Model One Penny Coin. The Victorian Model Coinage was designed between 1844-48 by the Birmingham Medallist, Joseph Moore and were minted by H. Hyams, with the notion of replacing the heavy copper coinage in use at the time. The coins did enter circulation illegally and were also very popular, causing the Royal Mint to issue a statement declaring they were not minted by them. The bi-metallic Model One Penny coins were particularly popular - this example we would grade as VF or thereabouts. The coin has similar wear to both the Obverse and the Reverse with a nice even flan and a good edge. The coin is offered as always with a money back guarantee if not as described - the coin in the photos is the one for sale. This coin is also available on our new Instagram page with free postage: santlache_coins_medals Any questions please by all means send us an email, which can be found below in the Business Seller Information details.POSTAGE - UK Signed-For Delivery or Special Delivery - OVERSEAS International Tracked and Signed-For Delivery.
