Gilt lettering, ruling, and deco rubbed & soiled in some places, but overall bright and legible. Front hinge beginning to split at tail. All edges gilt. Gift inscription found on front fly-leaf: To Evelina, from her Brother Joe. Jan 1st, 1848. Front gutter split at blank side of frontispiece - cording exposed. Tissue guards exhibit off-setting from respective plates. Light toning and some instances of age-staining throughout text-block. No known marginalia. Binding is intact. Please see photos.
