The gilt titles and design remain very pretty. The cover shows fading and wear, especially at the head/tail of the spine and the corners. The joints are intact. The hinges are intact. The binding is good. The pages are good but there is a moisture stain to upper right corners of the pages throughout. There are no page tears, no dog ears, and no internal writing. There is age foxing.The owner signed their name on the first blank page and dated Sug 16th, 1853. The inside back endpaper has penciled poetry.This book has 347 pages and it measures 8 by 5 1/4 inches.
