Plus adverts of the day. c.keenlyside. 0301 CONDITION/DIMENSIONS The Illustrated Times was a magazine founded as a competitor to the Illustrated London News, but it never really gained a lot of popularity, so are quite rare. This is an original but USED magazine/newspaper not a scan and not a later re-print. Seven pages (14 sides). It measures 365 x 260 mm (14.25 x 10.25 inches).The spine is loose with binding witness marks where once bound, some pages are loose. The front and back pages are detached along the spine. The front page is tatty (see scan). There is age yellowing with some spotting. Some pages may have minor cuts tears and blemishes due to their great age. The engravings vary in size. PLEASE NOTE: I cannot guarantee that the issue is complete 'as published' - but what I have described above IS present. As far as I can tell there is one page missing so if you are looking for something in particular in these pages PLEASE ASK. The process of the page numbering in The Illustrated Times carried on from the previous issue therefore do not start at number 1.
