Description: 1859-1866 James Boswell's Life of Samuel Johnson Vol. 1-10 Ex Library Engravings Antique used condition. Good condition for its age. Book 1 (Vol. I & II) is heavily damaged with the cover completely split from the spine and spine separated from the rest of the book. The other volumes are in much better condition with tight bindings. All books contain wear expected of age and use and appear complete. These volumes were formerly in the library of Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, OH. Catalog marks are evident on the spine as well as embossed school identification on the title pages. The publish date on book 1 is 1866 and the rest are 1859. All books contain multiple steel plate engravings. Bookends not included.
