'Cartonnage romantique' binding, with decorative embossed papered boards, and coloured illustration inlaid to upper cover. Engraved prize bookplate on front pastedown, given by 'Institution de Mlle Laure Curaudau', dated August 1863. Size: 8vo (22cm x 14cm).Good to Very Good condition. Some wear to edges of binding, and chip to foot of spine, as well as abrasions to corners. Some fading to spine. Pages quite clean and bright with only a few small traces of foxing. Blank endpapers rather toned.
