Description: Large, heavy 1860s leather photo album with CDVs, cabinet cards and a tintype. These photos were removed from the album to take the listing pictures, but will be shipped inside of the album. All but two of the marked photos have Tennessee photographer imprints: Knoxville, Jackson, Nashville, and Morristown. Two are from Trumansburg, New York studios (identified as Dixie and Jamie), and the rest are blank, but much more likely than not from Tennessee. The only surname I see is Turley (Netta? and Tom), on the back of the CDV of two children. There are 28 photos total dating from the 1860s to early-1900s. Pics should show condition of the photos well.. Netta and Tom's CDV is heavily damaged, the rest have normal wear. Album is about 11" x 8.5" x 2" when closed. It's in pretty good condition with common wear... missing latch, detached covers, some interior insertion tears. No loose pages. More photo albums and antique photos FS at store.thanatos.net
