Description: This 1860's Civil War era envelope (no contents) was sent from Nashville Tennessee to Louisville Kentucky. The cover appears to a manuscript military endorsement on the front but I am unable to make it out. The cover has the DUE 3 cancel struck partially over the Nashville TN double circle cancel. There is also an ADVERTISED cancel as well which is fairly scarce on soldier's mail. Overall a very interesting item.
