Letter reads: Sir, You will please forward me my Honorable Discharge and Descriptive List if they have arrived, I was paid on the 4th, Yours with respect, James Ryan, No.17 Smith St., Brooklyn, N. Y., May 10th. James Ryan was an officer. Written on lined bond paper, flower pressed seal upper right, remains of a red wax seal.
