This is the 1864-R A XVIII Twenty Baiocchi struck during the times of Pope Pius IX at the mint in Rome. The coin depicts the image of the bust of pope Pius IX facing left on the obverse with the legend "PIVS IX.PONT.MAX.A.XVIII." surrounding the image. The reverse shows the denomination and date within a wreath with the letter R (mint mark for Rome) in the bottom. The Pope's bust has the word "VOIGT" under it for the name of the artist responsible for designing the image. The coin is lustrous with attractive pale pastel tone on the obverse. It is graded as MS 65 by PCGS and comes in gold shield slab so marked. The coin should weigh ~5.71 grams of 0.800 silver and measures ~24 mm in diameter.
