Description: Original circa 1870's-1880's tintype of a bakery & restaurant building. The building has the lettering on front: "Bakery" & "Lunch Of All Kinds" & "Hot Coffee". There are three children & three adults in the photo. A rare subject for a tintype. Measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. Has some minor age flaws which are commonly found on most tintypes including some small bends, some minor wear, & some rust on the back. Also, there a couple of flaws to the emulsion just in from the bottom edge & there are a couple of creases. This interesting photo came from an old Pennsylvania collection of tintypes which was formed over several decades.
