Featuring a woman posed in studio, she wears a black gown with discrete design to camouflage the fact that she is pregnant - she stands with one arm draped protectively across her protruding stomach. Marked E. DAGGETT Artistic Photographs, Nunda, N.Y., it dates to around the 1870s - I found a reference to Edmund Daggett in the 1870 Nunda NY city directory.
