Description: I am offering this pair of porcelain figural German beer steins made in Thuringia, Germany in the 1870s to 1880s. They are each one half liter capacity. They each have finally detailed lithophanes in the bottom, one showing a few people gathered at a table and the other showing a man smoking a pipe. There are minimal wear marks on the paint as you can see in the pictures, they are all in all in very good condition. The painting of the faces is very nicely done and detailed.
