Walker, published by the Dublin Steam Printing Company/Simpkin, Marshall, undated (probably early 1870s), 5.25" x 7.5" hardcover (blue cloth on boards with gilt lettering), 468 pages plus section of ads, foldout map in front, illustrated with colored plates. The book is in fair condition: Generally clean text, some foxing on the plates and their facing text pages, binding a bit shaken, several pages at the end of the advertising section loose and laid in, rear free end paper removed, front hinge weak, spine cocked, edges of the text block darkened, top half of the backstrip gone, bottom half splitting along the hinges, other light cover wear. Somebody recently used the front free endpaper as a notepad to write a bunch of notes in pen that have nothing to do with the book. The map has a long tear and extremity wear. Not ex-library.
