1870s PRISM FONT OIL LAMP WITH BLUE GLASS BASE & NICE SWIRLED GLASS CHIMNEY

Description: This is a scarce early Prism font kerosene stand lamp from the 1860s or 1870s with its original semi opaque blue glass base...complete with brass burner and unusual swirled glass chimney with crimped rim!.....3 pc mold clear glass prism font has ribbed prisms around the outside surface of font.....Original semi opaque blue glass square base with original brass connector stem.....8"tall to brass threaded collar....16 1/4"with burner & chimney.....Excellent shiny nice condition with only a faint bruise on the bottom inside edge of base (cannot be seen on display). No other damage. A nice clean lamp with no haze. Original old brass threaded collar is perfect with no splits or damage. Antique replacement brass EAGLE burner is in good working condition (just needs a wick which can be supplied if you need one). Clear glass chimney has beautiful swirled twist pattern with ruffled hand crimped rim....Perfect condition with no chips or damage.
